Step 02: Design

What happens

A plan, not a shopping list.

A good design says where each piece goes and why, what it plugs into, and how the finished network will be tested. An equipment quote doesn't.

From your floor plans we build a predictive heatmap that shows coverage and capacity before anything is installed. Then we design what sits behind the radios: cabling, switch ports, power, internet connection, security and backup. You get drawings, a parts list and a clear explanation of the choices.

One step or all five

A design you can hand to any installer.

If you already know what has to work, design can be the only thing you buy from us.

Just the design

A predictive heatmap from your floor plans, drawings with every access point or antenna location, the cabling and power behind them, and a parts list. Your installer, or ours, builds from it.

Yours to keepDrawings, heatmaps, parts list and the test plan.

As part of all five

The team that drew it also orders it, installs it and tests it against the plan, so the design intent survives to the finished network.

Where it goes wrong

Where designs usually fall short.

Coverage without capacity

The map shows full bars, but the room still slows to a crawl when everyone connects at once.

What we do insteadWe design for how many people and devices use each space, not just signal strength.

The radios are designed, nothing else

The access points are placed, but the switch can't power them or the internet line can't keep up.

What we do insteadWe design the cabling, power and connection behind every radio.

No way to prove it

Nobody decided how the finished network would be tested, so problems show up months later.

What we do insteadEvery design includes the test plan we'll use at the end.

Our approach

How design works.

  1. Model the space

Build a predictive heatmap from your floor plans, walls and materials.

  2. Pick the right layers

Wi-Fi, indoor cellular, private LTE/5G or 5G WAN, used alone or together.

  3. Design what's behind it

Cabling, switch ports, power, internet connection, security and backup.

  4. Write the package

Drawings, parts list, configuration standards and installation notes.

  5. Plan the test

Where we'll measure, what devices we'll use and what counts as passing.

Getting ready

What we prepare, and what you do.

01

A predictive heatmap

Coverage and capacity for every floor or area, before anything is installed.

02

The design behind each radio

Cabling, power, switch ports and the connection back.

03

A parts list and budget

For your approval before anything is ordered.

04

The test plan

How the finished network would be proved.

What you get

What you walk away with.

Yours to keep, whether we do the next step or someone else does.
